During the past 11 weeks, our renovation specialists have been working hard at Golf Club Hulencourt!
Time for an update…!⛳💪
Despite the extreme weather conditions we are right on schedule. Our collaboration with the architects (Infinite Variety Golf Design) and the client continues to go very smoothly, which ensures that the golfers will soon be able to enjoy a completely renovated golf course! The activities below have been executed in phase 2:
- Renovation of 9 front greens;
- Expansion of green 12;
- Moving green 18;
- Realisation of 41 tees;
- Renovation of 18 bunkers with a Bunker mat;
- ground improvement on 28.000 m2 fairways;
- Optimizing the drainage system;
- Taking care of the complete Grow-In.
One of our USP’s: Flexibility, has been essential in this project. Thanks to our partners, we have been able to implement ad-hoc adjustments and expansions!
• Expansion of 20.000m2 ground-, profiling- and sowing;
• Renovation tees (hole 6, 11);
• Tilling and sowing of 50.000 m2 fairway;
• Renovation of 2 ponds (surrounding hole 14).
Our “grass” clear maintenance strategy “An optimal playing quality” is yielding result
as shown during the quality analysis of the past two years.
Our grass specialists will work really hard again in 2019 to continue this trend.
SBA Golf & Groen B.V. signed a special maintenance agreement with Golf Club Mergelhof last week.
The greens will be managed by our specialists this year by means of daily application of the maintenance strategy “An optimal playing quality”.

The preparations for the new season have been made! Additional trueness-meters
for all maintenance projects have been put into use.
These meters enable the grass specialists to measure how “honest” the ball is rolling.
Conducting these measurements is part of the result-oriented maintenance plan.
